A revolutionary veteran fighter in the long war against the French colonialists and then South Vietnamese and American forces in South Vietnam during the Vietnam War and one of the most prominent political leaders that led the innovation known as Đổi Mới policy in Vietnam, Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet was not only a leading figure in the economic reforms, which have transformed Vietnam's economy but a highest-ranking former government official to support and sponsor for Vietnamese art, culture, publishing industries and Vietnamese artists.
