Wally Findlay Galleries quoted a dialogue between Le Pho (Vietnam/France, 1907-2001) and Mr Jean-François Hubert, Senior Expert, Vietnamese Art in 1995. Mr Jean-François Hubert: “Master, which is your preferred period?”. With no hesitation, Le Pho answered: “My Findlay.”
